Check Delhi University (DU) LLB Exam Pattern and Syllabus 2018



The Delhi university is the most prestigious institution of India based in Delhi for undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. The University is known for serving the higher knowledge by launching UG and PG courses in many streams in their campus and in this year like every year the Delhi University is inviting the eligible law aspirants for submitting the Delhi University (DU) LLB entrance exam application form 2018. Delhi University conducts LLb entrance exam every year for admission to the Faculty of Law.. For some UG Courses, university conducts admission test while for some there is provision for direct admission. DU LLB Entrance Exam is scheduled to be held in the month of July 2018. So, If you wish to take up DU LLB test 2018, you should know the DU LLB important dates for registration, admit card, final exam, result, counselling and admission.


Section Wise DU LLB Exam Pattern 


DU LLB entrance test is an offline paper (pen- paper based) based.

The questions in the du llb question paper will be from reasoning, current affairs, general knowledge, legal awareness and aptitude, mathematics, and English.

The du llb entrance test duration is 2 hours, and the question paper will consist 175 multiple choice questions.

Four marks will be allotted for every correct answer, while for a wrong answer, there will be a deduction of 1 marks. So, du llb negative marking will be of 0.25.

The total score for the test is 700, and the test language is English.



DU LLB 2018 Exam Syllabus

Candidate have to prepare five sections in the DU LLB exam pattern 2018 i.e. English Language & Comprehension, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Reasoning & Analytical Abilities, Arithmetic and Legal Awareness & Aptitude. Out of all sections, Legal Awareness and Aptitude is the most scoring subject. For this section, the entrance exam syllabus include the law of torts, family law, public international law, and constitutional law of India, the law of contracts, criminal law and jurisprudence.

If you look at the DU LLB Syllabus PDF format that the Delhi University will publish along with the official du llb exam notification, you will find that the mathematics section will cover questions from average, profit and loss, GP, AP, Algebra and percentage.
For English section, candidate will have questions like essay writing, hidden passages, fill in the blanks, incorrect sentences, and jumbled sentences and words.
For the general knowledge section, you should keep yourself updated with the latest happenings around you. Also, gather details about the most recent familiar judgment in legal cases. The questions might be from such claims.

As you know, the reasoning section will have questions to test your aptitude. Candidates can score well in the reasoning section by practising several times with the help of the past question papers.
