CLAT Exam Eligibility Criteria 2018 : Educational Qualification and Age




Common Law Admission Test (CLAT entrance exam ) 2018 is conducted every year by National Level Universities to give admission in law courses to the eligible candidates as per the CLAT Exam Eligibility.

Now question arises what is the CLAT Eligibility Criteria for 2018 entrance for  Undergraduate courses? There are multiple aspects which candidates have to fulfill for the CLAT Exam Eligibility Criteria 2018 which includes:

  1. CLAT Exam 2018 Eligibility Criteria for a candidate is that a candidate must passed his/her 10+2 or an equivalent exam with a minimum of:   

1.    If a candidate belongs to General/OBC/ especially abled person’s categories then they have to score minimum 45% Marks as per the Eligibility of CLAT entance exam 2018.
2.    Or if a candidate is belongs to SC/ST category then minimum 40 % marks they have to score according to CLAT admission test eligibility.

2.            Candidates who are appearing in the 10+2 examination in March/ April are also meeting the CLAT 2018 eligibility. Such candidates have to show the proof off passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission.

3.            Age limit for CLAT Exam Eligibility for LLB:

·         As per the decision BCI upper age criteria of CLAT entrance exam eligibility for LLB programs is increased for 5 or 3 years.  As a big decision, BCI has increased the upper age limit for three year LLB program from 20 years to 22 years.

So these are the eligible criteria for the undergraduate courses, now must be thinking for post graduate courses CLAT Exam Eligibility 2018.

  1. CLAT 2018 Eligibility for an aspirant is must gave the degree of LLM/LLB or any equivalent examination degree with a minimum of:   

·         General/OBC/ especially abled categories’ persons have to score minimum 55% Marks as per CLAT Exam Eligibility after Graduation.
·         SC/ST category candidates must have scored minimum 50 % marks in the exam as per CLAT Exam Eligibility after Graduation.

2.            Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April are also eligible under CLAT entrance Exam Eligibility 2018. Still, such aspirants have to produce the proof off passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission as per Eligibility of CLAT Exam.

3.            Age limit for CLAT Exam 2018 after Graduation:

·         BCI increased the upper age limit criteria has of CLAT Exam Eligibility after Graduation is increased for 5 or 3 years.  The age has been increased from 30 year to 45 years.

These are the criteria for CLAT Eligibility for LLB program and CLAT Exam Eligibility after Graduation programs. The CLAT 2018 Eligibility provide an overview of the minimum necessity for applying in the law entrance exam.
